This kitchen fitted in Corby has a bold, modern look that immediately stands out. The deep red walls give the room real character, while the matt grey units keep the overall design feeling smart and balanced. Warm wood-effect worktops and matching flooring soften the darker tones and help tie the whole space together. The central island creates a strong focal point, giving the kitchen a more social layout as well as extra storage and preparation space.
The layout has been designed to make the room feel open and practical at the same time. Long runs of cabinetry provide plenty of storage, while the island helps break up the space without making it feel closed in. Pendant lighting above the island adds another layer of style and helps define the main working area. Black sockets, fittings, and appliances also work well with the grey cabinetry, giving the finished kitchen a more contemporary edge.
What makes this project especially effective is how confident the finished design feels. Rather than playing it safe, this kitchen uses colour and contrast to create something much more individual, while still being functional for everyday use. The end result is a spacious, well-finished kitchen that feels modern, practical, and full of personality.
